Xi'an is one of the few cities in China where the ancient walls remain completely intact. The 14km wall dates back to the Ming Dynasty and offers the best vantage point over the city. Best Time to Visit Xi'an

Spring (April–May) and Autumn (September–October) offer the most pleasant weather. March is particularly beautiful with plum blossoms. Summer is hot but the attractions are air-conditioned. Winter is cold but you'll have the Terracotta Warriors practically to yourself.
